The Victor Valley Union High School District will be closed on TUESDAY JANUARY 22, 2013 . All employees and students should plan to return to school and work on WEDNESDAY JANUARY 23, 2013. Until Wednesday, all areas of operation, including the district office, maintenance, technology, security and every school site will be closed. No employees, including our teaching staff, are expected or required to report to work until Wednesday.

Statment from the Superintendent- I am pleased to announce that the Special Board meeting scheduled for this afternoon has been canceled. Today, our administration was able to come to an agreement with our teachers which - coupled with prior, similar actions by classified employees, management, and administrators - results in critical cost-cutting measures to likely stave off State takeover. As a result, the District will implement six (6) unpaid days for all employees during the remainder of this school year, and eight (8) for each of the next two school years.
