The Eco Club was formed to expand our students' view and positive impact on their environment. They have participated in several community and campus clean-up days.
Members have enjoyed exciting field trips to the Forever Wild Sanctuary in Phelan, the Devil's Punchbowl in Pearblossom, the Big Bear Discovery Center and the Moonridge Zoo in Big Bear. Fundraising has included selling organic coffees and plants.
Members also continually recycle bottles, cans, pencil sharpener shavings, and newspapers. The Eco Club took first place in the Recycles Week Contest winning the trophy from Burtec and the City of Victorville in both 2008 and 2010.
